February sees the premier in Rokoko theatre of Viktor Polesny's production of Death of a Salesman for which Michal composed the incidental music.

The One Season Band plays concerts throughout the year with Michal and Kamil Strihavka.

In May, Michal completes music for the Hradec theatre production of Othello, directed by Vladimir Moravek.

A new series of Na Kloboučku kicks off from the Sono recording studio.

The 3rd of November sees the premier of his first musical, Excalibur, in Ta Fantastika theatre, starring Kamil Střihavka, Lucie Bílá, Michael Kocáb, Dan Hůlka, Lucie Vondráčková,Vilém Čok and others.

The script was written by Karel Steigerwald and the songs by Vlastimil Tresnak and Jan Sahara Hedl.

At the end of 2003 the reformed Prazsky Vyber completes four concerts for the Jim Beam Rock competition.

To complete the year, Michal composes music for the Kodaň - “Copenhagen” performance directed by Jakub Spalka for Divadlo na Celetne.
