As 2009 becomes 2010, Michal completes his ballet composition Beauty and the Beast. The premier of this ballet, directed and choreographed by Jiri Pokorny took place on the 13th March on the stage of the J.K. Tzla theatre in Plzen.

From September, TV Prima began broadcasting the serial “Roads home,” for which Michal composed the music.

In the second half of the year Michal is working on musical themes for the forthcoming feature film Odchazeni - “Leaving” - directed by Vaclav Havel, and on themes for the Ceska Televize serial Network of Lost Time directed by karel Smyczeka and Martin Dolensko.

On the 2nd December under the patronage of the Unicorn association, Michal Pavlicek performed with the symphony orchestra and choir of the Prague Conservatory conducted by Miriam nemcova in Prague's Rudolfinum. Monika Naceva made a guest appearance. Michal's 3CD Matters of the Heart was christened by Vaclav Havel and Vladimir Kovar at this concert.
